Christmas Party Afternoons

With Christmas season coming up, we have a Christmas Companion Party for over 60’s on Friday 8th December between 1-5pm.

We are presently fundraising to make this event a free event to bring together older LGBT people who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation.

90 minutes of food and drinks/optional bingo and spooky music. Choose from our Brunch Menu including: Cheese and meat/Savory sharing platter/full english breakfast. Bottomless drinks include: Fosters, Strongbow, Wine, Cocktails and Prosecco.

Thanks to National Lottery players, and funding from the National Community Lottery Fund our LGBT+ Community Hub is now open. A Café/Bar and Community room, where we will encourage people who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness to meet one another, have a chat, make friends and join in with activities.”

If you would like to be involved and have a few hours to spare in the next few weeks, we definitely need volunteers to join our Steering Group or volunteer in the Centre, please get in touch at hello@wearproud.org

Covid vaccine drop in clinics for 1st, 2nd or booster vaccines

Drop in clinics running at locations across the city,

Covid vaccines are available for
• Those requiring first or second doses (this does not include children eligible for a vaccine at school).
• Must be a minimum of 8 weeks between first and second doses
• Eligibility for vaccine will be checked on attendance at vaccination sites.

Covid boosters available for
• Age 50 and over
• Frontline health and social care workers
• Age 16-49 years in at-risk group for COVID
• Adult carers
• Adult household contacts of at risk groups
• Must be a minimum of 182 days since second dose- this will be checked on site.
